How to acquire and use a Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

To acquire and use a Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy, you can purchase one from J. Pippin’s Potions (in Hogsmeade).

Alternatively, you can buy a Focus Potion recipe from J. Pippin’s Potions and craft a Focus Potion using 1x Lacewing Flies, 1x Fluxweed Stem, and 1x Dugbog Tongue.

Here’s how to acquire and use a Focus Potion (expand the screenshots above):

  1. Go to J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade.
  2. Talk to Parry Pippin.
  3. Buy 1 Focus Potion for 500 gold under “Combat Tools”.
  4. Pressing L1 (PS4/PS5) or LB (Xbox).
  5. Equip and drink the Focus Potion by navigating to it and releasing L1/LB.

If you don’t want to buy a Focus Potion, you can craft it instead.

To do so, you need to buy a Focus Potion recipe from J. Pippin’s Potions.

Lastly, craft the potion using 1x Lacewing Flies, 1x Fluxweed Stem, and 1x Dugbog Tongue.

Fluxweed Stem can be obtained by traveling to The Magic Neep in Hogsmeade and talking to Timothy Teasdale.
