Genshin Impact released a 3.1 update called the “King Deshret and the Three Magi”.

You can gain Primogems as compensation rewards for the maintenance time.

The update includes new characters, domains, equipment, and more.

There are also new Archon and story quests that you can complete for rewards.

This includes new Archon Quest Chapter III acts and Cyno’s Story Quest.

An objective in the game is to activate the mechanism in the center of the hall (0/3).

You need to hit a certain requirement to unlock those quests.

For instance, you may need an adventure rank of 40 and above.

Some quests are difficult to complete because of certain objectives.

To activate the mechanism in the center of the hall in Genshin Impact, you need to release 3 Primal Embers, guide them towards 3 structures, and activate 3 mechanisms.

Lastly, touch the mechanism in the center of the hall to complete the objective.

First Primal Ember

  1. Release the west Primal Ember.
  2. Activate the elevator to go down.
  3. Make your way around the force field and guide the Primal Ember into the structure.
  4. Activate the elevator to go back up.
  5. Operate the first mechanism nearby to activate it.

Second Primal Ember

Activate the mechanism in the center of the hall fans
  1. Release the middle Primal Ember.
  2. Follow it down a hole.
  3. Defeat the enemy.
  4. Release the Primal Ember again.
  5. Wait for the first fan to stop and walk by it.
  6. Wait for the second fan to stop and walk by it.
  7. Use the four-leaf sigil on top to go up.
  8. Guide the Primal Ember into the structure.
  9. Operate the second mechanism nearby to activate it.

Note: If the fans are turning on and off too fast, try relogging into the game.

Third Primal Ember

Activate the mechanism in the center of the hall
  1. Release the east Primal Ember.
  2. Follow the Primal Ember and release it again.
  3. Guide it into the structure.
  4. Go back and operate the third mechanism nearby to activate it.

After you’ve activated all 3 mechanisms, follow the quest marker and touch the mechanism in the center of the hall to complete the objective.
