The Blood Moon has a 33.33% chance to replace Night, and 6 crops become Bloodlit per cycle (once every 40 seconds over 4 minutes).
It lasts for 10 minutes and turns the sky and moon red.
A Night Staff increases Bloodlit crop yield by the number of charges it has.
