How to deal melee weapon damage to opponents in Fortnite

To deal melee weapon damage to opponents in Fortnite, you need to play Team Rumble mode.

In the mode, find yourself a Shockwave Hammer (in Oathbound Chests) and attack players with it.

Alternatively, you can attack players with a pickaxe, but it’s more difficult.

Here’s how to do this (expand the screenshots above):

  1. Play Team Rumble mode.
  2. Find a Shockwave Hammer in Oathbound Chests.
  3. Attack players with the Shockwave Hammer.

Other than Team Rumble mode, you can knock down players using any weapon in Battle Royale mode.

After you’ve knocked down a player, use a melee weapon and hit them until they are eliminated.

You’ll get the Witcher’s Steel Sword as a reward for completing the quest.
