How to Fix Delivered icon Not Showing on Messenger

Is the delivered icon not showing on Messenger when you send a message?

There are multiple icons/symbols on Messenger including sending, sent, delivered, and read.

The delivered icon is either a blue tick or a purple tick next to the message.

It shows that the message has been successfully sent to the other party.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix delivered icon/symbol not showing, not working, removed, or missing on Facebook Messenger on Android.

Why is the delivered icon not showing on Messenger?

The delivered icon is not showing on Messenger because you’ve recently updated the app.

The latest Messenger update removed icons like the delivered icon from the app.

This means that you won’t be able to see a blue or purple tick symbol when you send a message.

When you send a message, you can only see a “Sent” indication followed by when you sent it (e.g. 20m ago).
