How to Disable Caps Lock and Num Lock Notification on HP PC

Fix 1: End HP system event utility service

  1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL on your keyboard and select “Task Manager”.
  2. Right-click “HP system event utility” and select “End task”.
  3. You need to repeat the process each time you restart your PC.

Fix 2: Terminate HP system event utility

  1. Search for “Settings” using Windows Search and open it.
  2. Apps > Installed Apps > HP system event utility service.
  3. Click on the three dots > Advanced options > Terminate.

Fix 3: Uninstall HP system event utility

  1. Search for “Control Panel” using Windows Search and open it.
  2. Select “Uninstall a program” under “Programs”.
  3. Right-click “HP System Event Utility” and select “Uninstall”.
