Players start with 3 pet equip slots, but can get up to 8 pet equip slots by trading in aged pets.
You can obtain pets by buying Pet Eggs from the Pet Shop or Event Shops and hatching them.
To hatch an egg, you must place it on an empty spot in your garden and wait for the hatching period.

• Exotic Bug Egg
The Dragonfly in Grow a Garden is a divine pet that was added in the Animal Update.
It’s the first divine pet that was added to the game and looks like a golden version of a real dragonfly.
It has a passive called Transmutation, which turns one random crop into Gold every ~5 minutes.
You have a 1% chance of obtaining it from the bug egg and a 1% chance from the exotic bug egg.
