How to “Drain the water to move on” in Sonic Frontiers

To drain the water in Sonic Frontiers, you need to use Cyloop and circle around the cannon.

After that, load the cannon and shoot the center of the stopper stone before the timer runs out.

Here are the hints, “The pond in front of Sonic has some kind of plug”.

“Above it, a chain is connected to a huge stopper stone”.

“Maybe it’ll move if something hits it with enough force”.

Here is the full process (expand the screenshots above):

  1. Use Cyloop and circle around the cannon.
  2. Carry the cannon, go to the marker, and load it.
  3. Shoot the center of the stopper stone.

After you’ve shot the center of the stopper stone with the cannon, a cutscene will play.

The cutscene will show that the stopper stone is released and the water is drained.
