Fitting Room in H&M Video Probed by Police

Video footage of a fitting room in H&M in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was leaked on Twitter, Telegram, and WhatsApp.

The 11-second video went viral on Twitter after being taken down.

H&M Malaysia reported the incident to the police and they are investigating the matter.

The security manager in Jalan Imbi reported the incident after they were aware of the video being circulated.

Upon investigation, they did not find a video camera in the fitting room but assured the public that they will find the culprit.

The case has been classified under Section 509 of the Penal Code.

H&M made a statement regarding the incident, “We have inspected all of the fitting rooms and ensured that they are no security breaches that will compromise the safety of our customers.”.

“The safety of our customers is important and a police report has been made”.

“All findings about the hidden cameras were reported to the police and investigations are ongoing”.

The tweets got over 23,000 views each.

Apparently, the videos filmed were being sold online.

On H&M Malaysia’s Facebook page, many users left angry comments wanting answers.

Some users suggested that the H&M staff should have scanners to verify any cameras.
