How to Fix Movement in Fortnite Chapter 5

Fortnite is a battle royale game where 100 players battle against each other.

The objective is to loot, craft, shoot, and be the last man standing.

The game has an unpredictable competitive online experience that improves every season.

You can discover destructible environments, team up with friends, and build up.

With creator-made game genres, you can explore more ways to play.

Ride a dirt bike, roll in a snowball, hurdle over obstacles, and more.

Purchase the Battle Pass to unlock outfits like “Selene”, “Doom Slayer”, “The Ageless”, and more.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix the weird, bad, or slow movement/walking/running in Fortnite Chapter 5.

How to Fix Movement in Fortnite Chapter 5

To fix movement in Fortnite Chapter 5, you need to change your keyboard movement settings.

To do so, turn on custom diagnosis and set the forward diagonal angle, strafe angle, and backward diagonal angle to 52, 76, and 135 respectively.

Open your Fortnite keyboard movement settings and set it to this:

  1. Use Custom Diagnosis: On.
  2. Forward Diagonal Angle: 52
  3. Strafe Angle: 76
  4. Backward Diagonal Angle: 135

Do not change the movement settings or it’ll cause issues with the strafe.

This does not help fix the movement issue entirely, but you’ll be able to move better.
