How to get a free Netflix account

To get a free Netflix account, you can join survey websites like Survey Junkie, LifePoints, or InboxDollars.

You can also purchase a T-Mobile or Comcast Xfinity plan to get a free subscription.

Lastly, you can connect to a Vietnam VPN to get a free trial for Netflix.

1. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is a survey platform to get a free Netflix subscription and cash from sharing your opinion.

It’s one of the top-rated survey sites on Trustpilot with over 40,000 reviews (4.3 stars).

To get started, you can create an account for free, complete your profile, and verify your email address.

After you’ve signed up, you can complete surveys in exchange for rewards.

2. LifePoints

LifePoints is a survey website that rewards its members for completing surveys.

You can join the website for free and there are no requirements.

To get started, you need to register for an account, verify your email address, and complete your profile.

After you’ve verified your email address, you’ll get survey invitations via email.

When you complete a survey, you’ll earn LifePoints that can be exchanged with gift cards, PayPal credit, and more.

3. Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars allows you to take paid online surveys to earn up to $5 each.

You can also get rewarded by playing games like Outspell, Candy Jam, and Mahjong Solitaire.

Get cashback for online shopping and get paid to read emails.

You’ll get a free $5 bonus when you sign up for an account now.

Earn cash and gift cards for grocery shopping and scanning your receipts or trying deals.

4. T-Mobile or Comcast Xfinity plan

To get a free Netflix account, you can get a T-Mobile plan or a Comcast Xfinity package.

You can also connect to a Vietnam VPN and start a free trial on Netflix (available for Android phones).

Alternatively, you can ask your friends or family to share their Netflix accounts with you.

Most T-Mobile plans (e.g. two or more Go5G™ or Magenta® voice lines) include a free Netflix subscription at no additional cost.

After you’ve purchased one of the plans, you need to select the “Netflix” add-on and link your T-Mobile account to your Netflix account.

If you don’t want to pay for Netflix, you can also ask your friends or family to share their accounts with you.

4.1. Get a T-Mobile Magenta plan

Free Netflix account

If you’re living in the United States, you can register for a T-Mobile package that has a Netflix subscription.

If you have two or more Go5G™ or Magenta® voice lines, or one or more Go5G Next, Go5G Plus™ or Magenta® MAX voice lines, you can get Netflix for free.

After you’ve purchased a plan, you need to link your T-Mobile account to your Netflix account.

  1. Log in to your T-Mobile account to start redeeming the free Netflix subscription.
  2. Select Account > Add-Ons (next to the primary account holder’s line).
  3. Select Manage Data & Add-Ons > Services > Netflix add-on.
  4. Link your T-Mobile account to your Netflix account.

After you’ve linked your T-Mobile account to your Netflix account, you’ll be able to watch Netflix for free!

Simply log in to Netflix using the same account that you’ve linked to T-Mobile.

4.2. Get a Comcast Xfinity Package

Customers living in the United States can also sign up for a Comcast Xfinity Package that has a Netflix subscription.

Some Xfinity packages consist of a free Netflix subscription.

You can contact your provider if you want to know if your package includes this.

  1. Open the Netflix app on your X1 TV Box.
  2. Follow the prompts to link a new or existing Netflix account to your Xfinity package.

Do note that if you link an existing Netflix account, your payment method will be transferred to Comcast.

In other words, you won’t be charged a separate fee by Netflix.

5. Use a Vietnam VPN and start a Netflix free trial

Update: Netflix has discontinued the free trial for Vietnam customers.

The free trial is available to Vietnam customers using an Android phone.

If you’re not living in Vietnam, you need to connect to a Vietnam VPN.

Do note that the free trial is unavailable for iOS devices.

  1. Download a VPN app (ProtonVPN, Nord VPN, etc.) that has a Vietnam VPN.
  2. Connect to a Vietnam VPN.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app before opening it.
  4. Enter your email address and tap on “Start a Free Plan”.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new Netflix account.
  6. Start watching Netflix for free.

Keep in mind that you need to uninstall and reinstall Netflix for this to work.

In addition, you need to create a new Netflix account as you’re using a Vietnam VPN.

6. Share a Netflix account

Another to get a free Netflix account is to ask your friends or family to share their accounts with you.

Simply log in to your friends or family’s accounts using their email address and password (if they have an active subscription) to watch Netflix.

However, the number of screens that are allowed to watch at the same time is limited.

The basic plan only allows one screen to watch Netflix, so only one person can use the account at any given time.

The standard plan allows two screens to watch at the same time while the premium plan allows 4 screens.

You can also create up to five separate profiles if you’re watching Netflix on a TV.

This will prevent shared recommendations that you’re not interested in.

Does Netflix have a free trial?

Netflix Free Trial

Currently, Netflix does not offer any free trials (previously Vietnam has it).

However, you can change or cancel your plan at any time if you no longer want to watch Netflix.

When you subscribe to a plan, there are no contracts, cancellation fees, and commitments.

In early 2020, Netflix provided free trials to new customers in the US but removed it later on.

A spokesperson mentioned that Netflix is trying new marketing promotions to attract new customers.

In other words, they are trying to minimize their losses and maximize their subscription revenue.

Do note that the list of free Netflix accounts above is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

If an account does not work, it means that someone has changed or reset the password for it.

If an account does not have an active subscription, it means that it has expired.

The table above will be updated consistently, so you can bookmark this page and check back later for more free Netflix accounts.

Instead of finding a new account, it’s recommended that you pay for a Netflix subscription.

If you can’t afford the standard plan, you can select the basic plan instead.

The basic plan costs $9.99 USD per month which is a good deal.

If you really can’t afford a paid plan, you can share a Netflix account with your friends or family.

To do so, you can log in to Netflix using the person’s email address and password.
