To get a Metal Coat in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to go to Levincia.

Once you’re there, go to the Delibird Presents shop (the red-colored shop), select “Battle items”, and buy a Metal Coat.

Here’s how to get a Metal Coat:

  1. Go to Levincia.
  2. Go to Delibird Presents (the red-colored shop).
  3. Select “Battle items”.
  4. Buy a Metal Coat for 3,000 Pokedollars.

Do note that certain Battle Items are locked until you reach x number of Gym Badges.

To unlock most of the shop items, you need to get at least 6 Gym Badges.
