How to Fix Marvel Rivals Stuck at 99% Loading

Fix 1: Move the game from HDD to SDD

  1. Open Steam and select the “Steam” logo on the top left.
  2. Select “Settings” and select “Storage”.
  3. Select the current drive and select “Add Drive” (if SDD is not available as an option).
  4. Add your SDD to your Storage.
  5. Select “Marvel Rivals” and select “Move” to move it to your SSD.
  6. Launch Marvel Rivals.

Fix 2: Connect to Cloudflare’s free VPN

  1. Go to https://one.one.one.one/ and select “Windows”.
  2. Run the Cloudflare WARP installation wizard.
  3. Launch Cloudflare WARP and turn it on.
  4. Launch Marvel Rivals.

Fix 3: Temporarily Disable Windows Security real-time virus protection

  1. Search for “Windows Security” using Windows Search and press Enter.
  2. Select “Virus and threat protection”.
  3. Select “Manage settings” under “Virus and threat protection settings”.
  4. Turn off “Real-time protection”.
  5. Launch Marvel Rivals.

Fix 4: Clear local configuration files

  1. Open Steam and launch Marvel Rivals.
  2. In the launcher, select “Clear Local Configuration Files”.
  3. Launch Marvel Rivals.

Fix 5: Switch to Borderless Windows

  1. Launch Marvel Rivals.
  2. Press “Esc” and select “Settings”.
  3. Set the “Display Mode” to “Borderless Windows”.
  4. Press “Enter” to apply the changes.
