How to Fix “No clients are currently selected” in Xeno Executor

Are you getting a “No clients are currently selected” error in Xeno Executor?

Here’s the second part of the error: “Press the Attach button to attach to a Client”.

Followed by “Restart Xeno if Roblox is already open” and an “OK” button.

The error message occurs because Xeno failed to detect the Roblox client.

How to Fix “No clients are currently selected” in Xeno Executor

To fix “No clients are currently selected” in Xeno Executor, you must either open Xeno when playing a Roblox game, launch RobloxPlayerBeta instead of Roblox, or download Bloxstrap.

Editor’s note: I’ve personally encountered this error myself and managed to fix it using methods 2 and 3.

Method 1: Open Xeno when playing a Roblox game

1. Close Xeno and close Roblox.
2. Launch Roblox and enter a game.
3. Launch Xeno and select the link icon to attach it to Roblox.
4. Paste a script into Xeno and select the play icon to use it!

Method 2: Launch RobloxPlayerBeta instead of Roblox

1. Type “%localappdata%” (without quotation marks) into Windows Search and press Enter.
2. Open the Roblox folder and select “Versions”.
3. Open the versions folder with the newest date modified.
4. Scroll down and launch “RobloxPlayerBeta”.
5. Launch Xeno and select the link icon to attach it to Roblox.
6. Paste a script into Xeno and select the play icon to use it!

Method 3: Download the latest version of Bloxstrap

1. Go to https://bloxstrap.org/ and select “Download”.
2. Select the “Download” button under “Latest Version”.
3. Double-click the Bloxstrap application to install it.
4. Install/update .NET if prompted.
5. Select “Install and launch Roblox”.
6. Launch Boxstrap, log in, and play a Roblox game.
7. Launch Xeno and select the link icon to attach it to Roblox.
8. Paste a script into Xeno and select the play icon to use it!
