Are you getting a “Pet gifting is disabled!” error message in Grow a Garden?

Here’s the second part of the error: “Please be patient while we work on reenabling it”.

The pet gifting feature is essential for trading, as many players trade in the Grow a Garden Discord server.

Without it, you won’t be able to trade pets or gift them to other players.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix “Pet gifting is disabled!” in the Grow a Garden (Roblox), why it’s disabled, and when it will be back.

Why is Pet Gifting Disabled in Grow a Garden?

Pet Gifting is disabled in Grow a Garden because of a duplication glitch.

According to Jandel, Pet Gifting is temporarily disabled as of June 7, 2025.

This is because of an “exploit/dupe bug” that scripters are using to duplicate pets.

Because of this, Pet Gifting is disabled until the issue is fixed.

Jandel posted this message on 2 July 2025, on the official Grow a Garden Discord server.

The message is posted in the announcements channel, a few days before the Prehistoric update.

If you try to gift a pet to someone in the game, you’ll receive an error message.

Here’s the message that you’ll receive: “Pet gifting is disabled! Right now, please be patient while we work on reenabling it”.
