Fix 1: Run the PsPcSdkAppMgr file

  1. Open File Explorer > This PC > Windows (C:).
  2. Select View > Show > Hidden Items.
  3. Open ProgramData and open Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
  4. PSPC_SDK > S22 > 2.52.00.01.
  5. Scroll down and double-click “PsPcSdkAppMgr” (nothing will happen).
  6. Launch the game.

Fix 2: Delete Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc

  1. Open File Explorer > This PC > Windows (C:).
  2. Select View > Show > Hidden Items.
  3. Open ProgramData and delete Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
  4. Launch the game.

Fix 3: Manually install the MSI files

  1. Open Steam, go to your library, and right-click God of War Ragnarok.
  2. Select “Manage” followed by “Browse local files”.
  3. Scroll down and double-click PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.msi to install it.
  4. Double-click PsPcSdkRuntimeManager.msi to install it.
  5. Launch the game.

Fix 4: Run a command (for Linux users)

  1. Open Steam, go to your library, and right-click God of War Ragnarok.
  2. Select “Properties” followed by “General”.
  3. Type this in the launch options field “SteamDeck=1 %command%” (without quotation marks).
  4. Launch the game.
