To fix “Please close other Riot Games Products before signing out”, you need to sign out of the Riot Client.
You can also try deleting Valorant’s cache and uninstalling Vanguard.
These two methods are temporary fixes until Riot Games fixes the bug.
Fix 1: Sign out of the Riot Client
- Open the Riot Client (if you can’t find the Riot Client, right-click “Valorant” > Open file location > UX > RiotClientUX).
- Click on the profile icon on the top navigation bar.
- Select “Sign out” to sign out of Riot Games.
Note: This is a temporary solution to bypass the error message.
Fix 2: Delete Valorant’s cache and uninstall Vanguard
- Press the Win + R keys and search for “appdata”.
- Select the “Local” folder.
- Open the “Riot Games” folder.
- Delete the “Install VALORANT”, “Riot Client”, and the “VALORANT” folders.
- Search for “Control Panel” using the Windows Search Bar.
- Select “Uninstall a program” under “Programs”.
- Right-click “Riot Vanguard” and select “Uninstall”.
- Launch Valorant and the folders that you’ve deleted will begin installing.
- Restart your computer after the installation is done and launch Valorant again.
Note: The “Install VALORANT”, “Riot Client”, “VALORANT” folders and Riot Vanguard will automatically begin installing when you launch Valorant, so you don’t have to worry about deleting them.
