Post-mortem

Requirements

How to get

  1. Go to the Indoor Obby (easy obby area).
  2. Progress until you reach checkpoint 3 or 4.
  3. Between these checkpoints, there is a long pathway with multiple killbricks.
  4. Attempt the obby normally, but aim for the last killbrick before the next checkpoint.
  5. Jump onto the last killbrick and let it kill your character.
  6. As you die, try to fling your body or body parts forward toward the next checkpoint.
  7. If done correctly, your dead body touches the checkpoint, triggering it while you are dead.
  8. This awards the Post-mortem secret.

Explanation

Post-mortem is a timing-based glitch secret where you must activate a checkpoint after dying. The name refers to doing something “after death.”

The key mechanic is using killbrick momentum to launch your body forward so it touches the next checkpoint while your character is already dead. This is most reliably done between checkpoints 3 and 4.

Post-mortem is linked to Indoor Obby and has a rating of 351.
