Fix 1: Change the Java options variable

  1. Search for “Environment Variables” using Windows Search and open it.
  2. Select “Environment Variables…”.
  3. Select “_JAVA_OPTIONS” and select “Delete”.
  4. Restart your PC and try launching Hytale!

  1. Search for “CMD” using Windows Search and run it as an administrator.
  2. Type “ipconfig /release” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
  3. Type “ipconfig /renew” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
  4. Type “ipconfig /flushdns” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
  5. Type “netsh winsock reset” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
  6. Restart your PC and try launching Hytale!

Fix 5: Connect to a VPN

  1. Install a PC/mobile app like ProtonVPN or 1.1.1.1 by Cloudflare.
  2. Connect to a free VPN (e.g., Australia) or turn on 1.1.1.1.
  3. Try launching Hytale!
