Instagram has a new feature that allows you to create nicknames for yourself and your friends.
Every chat can have different nicknames and anyone in the chat can see nicknames.
People you follow or give permission can edit your nickname.
This feature is new, so if you don’t have it yet, you must wait until it’s rolled out to you.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to edit, change, and set a nickname in chat on Instagram DMs (direct messages) for your friend.
