How to Fix Career Profile Stats Not Updating in Overwatch 2

Are your career profile stats not updating or transferred from Overwatch 1 to Overwatch 2?

Is your PC stats merged over but not your console stats?

Overwatch 2 was released on October 4, 2022.

Since its release, the game has had multiple known issues.

Some of the known issues are server disconnection, cosmetics, items, currency not showing up, and others.

In this guide, you’ll learn why are your Overwatch 2 stats not updating and how to fix your career profile stats not updating on PC and console.

Why are my Overwatch 2 stats not updating?

Your Overwatch 2 stats are not updating because you haven’t merged your accounts.

If you’ve already merged your accounts, you need to wait for your stats to sync.

According to an Overwatch announcement by Jodie, a community manager, this is taking a long time because the player database is overloaded.

Many players are complaining on the Blizzard forum that their stats are not transferred.

“Same for me here. I didn’t have Overwatch 1 since I moved to a different console, but all of my accounts were properly linked.
I booted up OW2 expecting to be able to merge but I have a completely empty account with no cosmetics, stats, or even the characters unlocked”.

“The first time I got in, I was about 15 minutes early and all of my stats and skins were gone. The game acted like I was brand new, which I thought was a result of my being early. Now I’m seeing that this is a known bug, and I’m a bit worried. I got a response from Blizzard and they told me to go to the forums and wait until they could get things resolved. What a joke”.

“I logged in on PS4 and it started me in the tutorial. All of my skins and stats are gone. Everything is gone. I didn’t even try to play, I closed the app, and got off. I had zero motivation to play after I saw that I had nothing”.
