How to Fix The First Descendant Crashing

Fix 1: Update your graphics card

Fix 2: Run The First Descendant as an administrator

  1. Navigate to your Steam library.
  2. Right-click The First Descendant > Properties > Local Files > Browse.
  3. Right-click The First Descendant > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program as an administrator > Enable > OK > Launch the game.

Fix 3: Clear Steam download cache

  1. Open Steam and click on the Steam logo on the top left.
  2. Select “Settings” and select “Download”.
  3. Select “Clear Cache” and select “Confirm”.

  • Unplug your racing wheel: Unplug the Logitech or Thrustmaster racing wheel.
  • Disable gaming software: Open the task manager and end the Razer Synapse or MSI Dragon Center task.
  • Close your tabs: Close all of your tabs to free up RAM and relaunch the game.

  1. Navigate to your Steam library.
  2. Right-click The First Descendant > Properties > Local Files.
  3. Click on “Verify integrity of game files”.
