“The police were called, and they have made a number of arrests in connection with this incident, and their investigation is ongoing”.

“Uppermost in our thoughts has been the welfare and care of the victim”.

“We are taking this situation extremely seriously and are working with all agencies involved”.

“Hello. I’m Chief Inspector Dalls McDermott, part of the senior leadership team of North Surrey Division”.

“I wanted to bring you this update as we continue to investigate a serious racially aggravated assault outside a school in Ashford”.

“I want you to know that we’ve arrested five people, four on suspicion of attempted racially aggravated GBH”.

“Two of these people were also arrested on suspicion of child neglect and for encouraging an offense to be committed”.

“The victims continue to receive specialist support from officers, and I can confirm that one has been to the hospital and received treatment for injuries sustained during the attack”.
