How to Unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to start the “Guidance from Ages Past” quest and go to 1372 | -3298 | 0468 (Dragonhead Island).
Once you’re there, cut through some vines and open the large door (you need at least 10 hearts).
Lastly, make an aircraft using the construction materials, fly down, take out the beam, line it up with the Altar, and complete the production of the super mech.
Here’s how to do this (expand the screenshots above):
- Start the “Guidance from Ages Past” quest (get through the first cutscene where you start building the super mech).
- Use a flyer bike and go to these coordinates in the sky: 1372 | -3298 | 0468 (Dragonhead Island).
- Have at least 10 hearts, cut through some vines, and open the door.
- Use the construction materials (wings, a fan, and a steering control) to make an aircraft, attach the beam to it, and fly down.
- Take out the beam from the wing and go to the Altar.
- Get the beam to line up with it to reveal a hidden door and a staircase.
- Take the beam, climb down the stairs, and place it in the middle.
- Interact with the Muokuij Lightroot behind the elevator.
- Climb back up towards the Construct Factory and pick up the Zonai device with the laser beam.
- Take the device towards the disc, line it up, and place it inside to make the head of the statue.
Tip #1: If you are unable to pass through the fence/old guy, you need to beat all four of the regional phenomena, talk to Purah, and you need to go to the castle to fight Ganon.
Tip #2: You also need to have the Ukoojisi Shrine unlocked in the sky—to unlock it, go to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and fly over there.
These steps are also required to do the duplication glitch (to get rid of the big statue).
