Tyre Nichols, 29, died after getting beaten up by several police officers in a Memphis-released body cam footage.

According to CBS, Nichols’ stepfather said that Nichols died from cardiac arrest and kidney failure.

An independent autopsy was conducted and they discovered that Nichols had extensive bleeding caused by beating.

The incident happened when police officers confronted Nichols at a traffic stop.

Apparently, the police officers stopped Nichols for reckless driving.

The officers pushed him to the ground while Nichols can be heard saying that he didn’t do anything.

An officer used a stun gun/taser on him and Nichols screamed for his mom who lives 60 yards away.

Another officer used pepper spray to spray Nichols and said “Watch out, I’ll spray your eyes again”.

Who is Tyre Nichols?

Tyre Nichols is a 29-year-old father who loves skateboarding and photography.

He has a tattoo of his mom on his arm.

He likes taking photos of sunsets on weekends in the city park.

Nichols has a photography website hosted on Wix called “T. Nichols photography”.

Here’s what his about page says, “My name is Tyre D. Nochols. I’m an aspiring photographer. I mostly do this stuff for fun, but I enjoy it very much”.

In the leaked body camera footage, Tyre Nichols was getting beaten up by several police officers.

Apparently, he was stopped because of reckless driving.

The video was reposted across multiple social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

“I just want to ask for prayer from my family this whole community and I want to say to the five police officers who murdered my son, you all are a disgrace to your own families”.

“We want justice for my son. Free justice for Tyre. Justice for Tyre”.
