If you’re not a Course Hero member, you won’t be able to see all the answers on a document.
You’ll only be able to see part of the document—a preview of it.
There are two official ways to unblur Course Hero answers.
You can either pay for a subscription or upload 10 documents.
When you upload 10 documents, you’ll receive 5 free unlocks.
You can also try joining a Discord server/Telegram group that reveals Course Hero answers—but they usually don’t work.
But what if there is another way to unblur Course Hero answers without Discord, Telegram, or paying for the subscription?
In this guide, you’ll learn how to unblur Course Hero answers (without Discord or Telegram) and how to get Course Hero for free.
How to unblur Course Hero answers
To unblur Course Hero answers, you need to inspect the page, select “Sources”, and open “split-0-page-1” in a new tab.
After you’ve opened “split-0-page-1” in a new tab, delete “-html-bg” from the URL to unblur the top half of the answers.
To unblur the bottom half of the answers, change “split-0” to “split-1”.
Some documents only have a single split, so you might not need to change “split-0” to “split-1” to see all of their answers.
To see the answers for the next page, change “page-1” to “page-2”.
After you’ve changed the page, you need to change the “split-1” to “split-0” and vice-versa.
It’s highly recommended that you use Chrome for this.
If you don’t have Chrome, you can install it here: https://www.google.com/chrome/.
Here’s how to unblur Course Hero answers:
1. Right-click the page and click on “Inspect”

Firstly, you need to go to the Course Hero document that you want to unblur the answers of.
Once you’re on the Course Hero document, you need to inspect the page.
To do so, right-click the document.
After you’ve right-clicked the document, you’ll see several options.
This includes “Back”, “Print”, “Inspect”, and more.
Click on “Inspect” to inspect the page.
2. Click on “Sources”

After you’ve clicked on “Inspect”, you’ll land on the “Elements” page.
On the top navigation bar, you’ll see a few tabs.
This includes “Elements”, “Console”, “Sources”, and others.
Click on “Sources” to go to the “Sources” page.
3. Open “split-0-page-1” in a new tab

After you’ve clicked on “Sources”, you’ll land on the “Sources” page.
On the page, you’ll see a few files.
Here are the 3 steps that you need to do:
- Click on the “doc-asset” file.
- Right-click “split-0-page-1”.
- Click on “Open in new tab”.
When you click on the “doc-asset” file, it will be expanded, and you’ll be able to see the “split-0-page-1” file.
The “split-0-page-1” file includes an image (.jpg) of the first page of the document.
When you open the file in a new tab, you’ll be able to unblur the document’s answers by deleting a section from its URL (more in the next step).
4. Delete “-html-bg” from the URL

After you’ve opened the “split-0-page-1” file in a new tab, you’ll see the first page of the document.
However, the document’s answers will be blurred, so you need to unblur them.
To do so, you need to delete “-html-bg” from the URL.
In the URL of the document, you’ll see a “-html-bg” section.
Now, you need to highlight “-html-bg” from the URL and press the Backspace key on your keyboard to delete it.
5. Use “split-0” to unblur the top half of the answers

After you’ve deleted “-html-bg” from the URL, press the Enter key on your keyboard.
Now, you’ll be able to see the top half of the answers.
In the URL, you’ll see a section that says “split-0”.
The “split-0” section will unblur the top half of the document’s answers.
Hence, if you want to see the top half of the document’s answers, you need to use “split-0”.
6. Change “split-0” to “split-1” to unblur the bottom half of the answers

Now that you’ve seen the top half of the document’s answers, it’s time to unblur the bottom half of it.
To do so, you need to change “split-0” to “split-1” in the URL and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
After you’ve changed “split-0” to “split-1”, the bottom half of the document’s answers will be unblurred.
Do note that not all Course Hero documents have splits, so you might not have to do this for every document.
7. Change “page-1” to “page-2” to see the answers for the next page

Now that you’ve seen all of the document’s answers on page 1, it’s time to go to page 2.
To see the answers for page 2, change “page-1” to “page-2” in the URL.
After you’ve changed “page-1” to “page-2”, you’ll see the answers for the second page of the document.
However, you’ll only see part of the answers.
To unblur the second part of the answers, you need to repeat step #6.
To recap—you need to play around with the “split-0” section by changing it to “split-1” and vice-versa.
You’ve successfully learned how to unblur Course Hero answers!
