To unlock heroes in Overwatch 2, you need to complete a certain number of games.

For example, if you want to unlock Hanzo, you need to complete 9 games.

On the other hand, if you want to unlock Zenyatta, you need to complete 25 games.

If you win the game, you’ll grant double progress.

This means that a win will count as 2 completed games.

You can check the number of games that you need to complete to unlock a specific hero by going to your challenges.

Once you’re there, select the “Hero” tab to see your progress.

If you don’t see any challenges in the tab and you’re a new player, try relogging into the game.

How to unlock all characters in Overwatch 2

To unlock all characters in Overwatch 2, you need to complete all of the hero challenges.

You can access your hero challenges by going to the main menu and selecting Challenges > Hero.

In the “Hero” tab, you’ll see the number of games that you need to complete to unlock a certain hero.

For example, unlocking Ana requires you to complete 4 games.

The hardest hero to unlock is Echo because you need to complete 150 games.

Hence, new players in to complete 150 games to unlock all characters.

However, if you have Overwatch 1, you’ll automatically have access to all heroes.

That said, some players reported that they have locked heroes even though they bought Overwatch 1.

This is a known bug in the game where old players don’t have access to some characters.

According to a moderator, the player database is overloaded, which means that your data from Overwatch 1 can take a longer time to sync to Overwatch 2.
