How to find Water Tauros in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To find the Water Tauros in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to go to West Province (Area Two).

Once you’re there, look for groups of Tauros and find one with a curly tail.

Here’s the location of Water/Aqua Tauros:

  1. Eat a sandwich that boosts water-type Pokemon.
  2. Go to West Province (Area Two) and find groups of Tauros.
  3. Look for a Tauros with a curly tail and raindrops on its fur.

Do note that an Aqua Tauros is only available on Pokemon Violet—it’s not available on the Scarlet version.

It can spawn at any time and in any weather.

Eating a sandwich that boosts water-type Pokemon encounters is highly recommended as it increases the spawn rate of an Aqua Tauros.

Do not eat a sandwich that boosts fighting-type encounters as lesser Aqua Tauros will spawn.
