Who is Matan Even?

In 2022, Matan Even went viral after crashing The Games Awards.

The Game Awards is an award show that honored the best video games in 2022.

It was hosted by Geoff Keighley and held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

During the show, Matan went to the stage and said that he nominated Bill Clinton and referred to him as “Reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton“.

This took place after Elden Ring won the game of the year.

The director and some developers were on stage when the kid, took the microphone and began a 10-second speech.

Keighley signaled to the security team and they escorted Matan Even off the stage.

In this article, you’ll learn who is Matan Even, his social media platforms, and his political views.

Who is Matan Even?

Matan Even is a YouTuber (110k+ subscribers) and Twitter personality who exposed police brutality in the Hong Kong protests from 2019 to 2020.

He uploaded 56 episodes of civilians getting beaten by the police.

His YouTube channel, youtube.com/@matanevenoff (previously @mataneven34) was created in 2019.

He joined Twitter at about the same time on March 2019.

He stopped uploading videos after the Hong Kong protests ended and posted a tweet talking about his hiatus.

Here’s what he tweeted, “Hello everybody, I haven’t posted in a while and I just wanted to let you guys know why. The reason I have not posted is due to there not being much to post about”.

Followed by “Currently, no protests or news is happening in # Hong Kong. I may start posting again, and I’ll update you guys again soon”.

His official Twitter profile is https://twitter.com/MatanEven and he has over 200k followers.

His secondary account is https://twitter.com/matanevenoff with over 1.8k followers.

After the stunt at the Games Awards, he tweeted this, “Today, there is a lot of talk and speculation. More information will be released on all fronts sooner than later”.

The tweet got over 5,000 likes and more than 900 retweets.

Apparently, the Game Awards stunt is not the only stunt he’s done before.

He previously advocated for human rights at a Clippers game, said “Free Hong Kong” to a Blizzard panel, and was on InfoWars for his views on Hong Kong.

InfoWars is a far-right conspiracy theory website founded by Alex Jones.

In 2019, he baited the NBA cam and flashed a “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong” t-shirt.

On Twitter, @raykwong tweeted the clip and got over 28k likes.

Before he rose to fame, he used to go on various TikTok Lives to troll others on their political views as @caprogg.

According to his history, Matan is condemning police brutality and advocating for human rights.

He frequently discusses politics outside of the United States like China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan but refrains from discussing right-wing politics.

This is evident from his interview on InfoWars where Matan refuses to share his views on it despite the host’s persuasion.
