Ysera the cat was adopted at 8 weeks old in February of 2022 by Charles Moheato (Charly).
Charly was excited to have Ysera and her sister Banshee as new kittens in the house.
She was named after a sleeping dragon, Ysera, from the game, World of Warcraft.
Ysera’s favorite favorite thing to do was to climb the scratching posts.
In July of 2022, Charly started noticing that Ysera was walking abnormally.
A week after, Charly sent her to an internal medicine vet and a neuro vet specialist.
Ysera did tests like blood work and x-rays, but the neuro specialist said that an MRI was needed.
However, an MRI costs five to six thousand dollars, which was a stretch.
Charly started posting Ysera on TikTok and after a year, he managed to raise enough funds to get the MRI.
The diagnosis turned out to be neurodegenerative disease which affects the nerves of her legs.
This means that Ysera is unable to walk because she’s unable to support her legs.

The doctors have ruled out Cerebellum hyperplasia, FIP, and a lot of the other common infections and diseases.
Charly started a GoFundMe on 2024 and successfully reached a goal of $25,000 USD.
On March 13, 2024, Charly entered Ysera into the America’s Favorite Pet Competition.
