Fix 1: Run Marvel Rivals in compatibility mode

1. Open Steam and go to your library.
2. Right-click “Marvel Rivals” and select “Properties”.
3. Select “Installed Files” and select “Browse”.
4. Scroll down, right-click “MarvelRivals_Launcher” and select “Properties”.
5. Select the “Compatibility” tab.
6. Tick “Run this program in compatibility mode for”.
7. Tick “Run this program as an administrator”.
8. Select “Apply” and select “OK”.
9. Double-click “MarvelRivals_Launcher” to launch the game.

Fix 2: Update your graphics card

• If you have a Nvidia graphics card, visit nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/download/ > Download Now > open the app > sign up or log in > Drivers > Download.
• If you have an AMD graphics card, Visit amd.com/en/support > Download > open the app > follow the on-screen instructions to update your graphics card.

Fix 3: Close all other tabs and applications

1. Close all of your existing tabs from all browsers (e.g. Chrome).
2. Close all of your existing apps (e.g. Discord).
3. Try launching Marvel Rivals again.

Fix 4: Install Intel XTU and lower the Performance Core Ratio

If you are using an Intel 13th and 14th Generation CPU:

1. Install https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html.
2. Restart your PC and open the Intel Tuning Utility software.
3. Lower the performance core ratio by 2 to 3 levels.
4. For example, you can adjust the multiplier from 55x down to 53x.
5. Apply the changes and try launching Marvel Rivals again.
