Fix 1: Update your graphics card
- For Nvidia: Visit nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/download/ > Download Now > open the app > sign up or log in > Drivers > Download.
- For AMD: Visit amd.com/en/support > Download > open the app > follow the on-screen instructions to update your graphics card.
Fix 2: Delete the profiles
- Navigate to the GTA V settings file (e.g. Documents > Rockstar Games > GTAV Enhanced).
- Open the profiles folder and delete “pc_settings.bin”.
- Go back and open the settings folder.
- Delete all the files starting with “sga”.
- Launch GTA V Enhanced.
Fix 3: Increase your VRAM
- Search for “View advanced system settings” using Windows Search and press Enter.
- Select the “Advanced” tab and select “Settings” under “Performance”.
- Select the “Advanced” tab and select “Change” under “Virtual memory”.
- Disable “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”.
- Select “Custom size” and type your current RAM (in MB) into the “Initial size” field.
- Type in your current RAM (in MB) multiplied by 4 into the “Maximum size (MB)” field.
- Select “Set”, select “OK” thrice, restart your PC, and launch GTA V Enhanced.
Fix 4: Change your DirectX settings
- Go to https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/.
- Download the “dxvk-2.5.3.tar.gz” file.
- Open the file, open “dxvk-2.5.3”, open “x64”, and copy both the “d3d11.dll” and the “dxgi.dll” file.
- Navigate to the GTA V directory (e.g. This PC > Windows (C:) > Rockstar Games > Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced).
- Right-click and select “Paste” to paste both files.
- Launch GTA V Enhanced.
