How to Enable Lossless Quality on Spotify

Spotify is a music and podcast app that offers millions of songs, albums, and original podcasts.

Stream music and podcasts on any device or subscribe to Spotify Premium for offline listening.

Discover new music, create playlists, explore different genres, and enjoy high-quality sound.

It also features lyrics, personalized music mixes, and the ability to follow and curate podcasts.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to get, turn on, or enable lossless quality on Spotify (lossless media/audio quality) on iOS, Android, or PC.

How to Enable Lossless Quality on Spotify

  1. Open Spotify and select your profile picture on the top left.
  2. Select “Settings and privacy”.
  3. Select “Media quality”.
  4. Select “Lossless” for audio, video, and download qualities (you must have Spotify Premium to enable it).

Note: If you don’t have the lossless quality option on Spotify, it means that it’s not rolled out in your country yet—lossless quality is currently available in Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the US, and the UK, and it’s gradually rolling out to over 50 other countries.
