How to fix an error occurred while starting Roblox

To fix an error occurred while starting Roblox, you need to clear Roblox’s cache.
After you’ve cleared Roblox’s cache, make a new folder named “Downloads” inside the Roblox folder.
Lastly, you need to enable “Run this program as an administrator” and “Disable fullscreen optimizations” for the Roblox Player Launcher and the Roblox Player Beta.
Step 1: Clear Roblox’s cache
- On your keyboard, press “WIN + R”.
- Search for “%localappdata%”.
- Open the “Temp” folder.
- Delete the “Roblox” folder.
Note: You can also delete everything inside the “Temp” folder.
Step 2: Create a new folder named “Downloads”
- Go back to the “Local” folder from the same folder.
- Open the “Roblox” folder.
- Right-click > New > Folder.
- Name the folder “Downloads”.
Step 3: Change the compatibility settings
- Open the “Versions” folder in the same “Roblox” folder.
- Open the version folder (e.g. “version-7b56ddc375a46c6”).
- Right-click RobloxPlayerLauncher > Properties > Compatibility.
- Enable “Run this program as an administrator” and “Disable fullscreen optimizations” > Apply > OK.
- Right-click RobloxPlayerBeta > Properties > Compatibility.
- Enable “Run this program as an administrator” and “Disable fullscreen optimizations” > Apply > OK.
- Open Roblox or Roblox Studio and the error will be fixed!
