How to Change Servers in Tower of Fantasy

Are you trying to connect to a server in Tower of Fantasy?

Or did you disconnect from a server and you can’t join it back?

If the server is full, you’re going to have to wait for a while before you can join it.

According to ToF’s official Twitter, if you’re having connectivity issues, you need to switch to a less crowded server.

That way, you don’t have to queue up to join it.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to change servers in Tower of Fantasy on iOS, Android, or PC and if your progress/data will restart.

  1. Launch Tower of Fantasy and log in.
  2. Select the current server that you’re in.
  3. Select the server that you want to change to (e.g. Asia-Pacific, Eden).

After you’ve selected the server that you want to change to, tap/click anywhere on the screen to enter the game.

If you’re currently logged in, you need to log out by going to Settings > Basic > Switch Accounts > OK.

There are 4 types of server statuses—Maintenance, Smooth, Hot, and Queue.

The server with the least number of players has the “Smooth” status while the server with the highest number of players has the “Queue” status.

If you’re a new player, you should play on a server with a “Smooth” status because you don’t have to queue up to join it.

Do note that if you join a new server, your progress will be restarted.

This is because your data is not shared across all servers in Tower of Fantasy.

To see the previous servers that you’ve joined, select the current server followed by “Characters Owned”.

After you’ve selected “Characters Owned”, you’ll be able to see the list of servers that you’ve played in.

Your progress will be continued if you join those servers.
