How to Change Skin Colors in The First Descendant

The First Descendant is a free-to-play third-person shooter game with high-quality graphics.

Engage in boss fights, loot different equipment, and experience 4-player battles.

Defend the Ingris continent from invaders as Descendants and uncover secrets.

Play unique characters, customize elements, and defeat bosses with strategy.

The gameplay offers a blend of realism and fantasy and it’s made with Unreal Engine 5.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to change colors in The First Descendant (outfit/skin color of characters).

How to Change Skin Colors in The First Descendant

In The First Descendant, you can earn and purchase paints to color their characters.

However, paints cannot be applied to default skins because the feature is no longer available.

This makes color customization a paywalled feature as new skins must be bought with real money.

To use paints, you need to navigate to the customization tab and select the item to recolor.

Next, you must choose from six boxes, each representing a different part of the outfit.

Each color is for one-time use only and must be obtained by purchasing with the premium game currency, Caliber.

Do note that only paid-for skins can be customized, as paints cannot be applied to default skins.
