Why does Google Play Store say “Couldn’t complete your purchase”?
Google Play Store says “Couldn’t complete your purchase” probably because the app developer hasn’t made the app available in your country.
If so, you can’t make in-app purchases or install the app on Google Play.
If you move to a new country, you can change your Google Play country to install the app.
The error message can happen because of a bug/glitch on Google Play.

How to fix “Couldn’t complete your purchase” on Google Play Store
How to fix “Couldn’t complete your purchase” on Google Play Store:
- Download a free VPN app (e.g. Secure VPN – Safer Internet).
- Connect to a free VPN (e.g., US, UK) that the app is available.
- Force quit the Google Play Store app.
- Re-open the Google Play Store app.
- Try installing the app again.
Using a VPN allows you to bypass country-restricted apps.
Let’s say the app is available in the US but it’s not available in India.
If so, you need to connect to a US VPN to install the app.
After you’ve connected to a US VPN, you’ll be able to install the app.
Make sure to force quit the Google Play Store app before you try to install it.
Otherwise, the app might fail to install again because the VPN is not synced yet.
