How to Delete Your Activision Account

Deleting your Activision/Call of Duty account is challenging because you won’t be able to do it in your profile.

Instead, you’ll need to navigate to another page.

Activision has a “Privacy and Data Protection” portal where you can submit a new request.

You can also check the status of your requests in the portal.

One of the requests is for deleting your personal information.

In other words, the request is for deleting your Activision account.

This includes all personal information with your Activision account and other accounts that are linked to it.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to delete your Activision account permanently.

How to delete your Activision account

To delete your Activision account, you need to navigate to “Preferences” and submit a request to delete your personal information.

After you’ve submitted a request to delete your personal information, you need to wait for a few days for your request to be reviewed.

If your request is approved, your Activision account along with your personal information will be deleted.

In the meantime, your account may be put on a hold.

Keep in mind that the deletion of your account cannot be reversed.

This is because your information will be permanently deleted from Activision’s database.

Hence, make sure that you think twice before submitting a “Right to Erasure” request.

After you’ve clicked on “LOGIN”, you’ll land on the login page of Activision.

Then, enter your password in the “Password” field and complete the CAPTCHA.

Lastly, click on “SIGN IN” to sign in to your Activision account.

To do so, click on “PROFILE” on the top navigation bar.

Once you’re on your profile, you’ll see 4 buttons.

This includes “Account Linking”, “Basic Info”, “Preferences”, and “Privacy & Security”.

After you’ve clicked on the “Privacy & Data Protection” link, you’ll land on the Privacy & Data Protection portal.

In the portal, you’ll see a couple of buttons.

This includes “Check My Case Status” and “Submit a New Request”.

The “Check My Case Status” button allows you to view your previous requests.

On the other hand, the “Submit a New Request” button allows you to view, download, or delete personal information.

Since you’re looking to delete your Activision account, click on “Submit a New Request”.

3. Request to delete your personal information

After you’ve clicked on “Submit a New Request”, you’ll land on the terms page.

The page contains information about viewing, downloading, and deleting your personal information.

Firstly, you need to select the country that you’re in.

For example, if you’re living in Singapore, select “Singapore”.

Next, check the checkbox that says “I have read the above terms, and I confirm my eligibility”.

Lastly, click on “Proceed to Privacy And Data Protection Portal”.

How to delete your Activision account

After you’ve clicked click on “Proceed to Privacy And Data Protection Portal”, you need to select a request type.

There are 3 request types including “Subject Access Request”, “Data Portability”, and “Right to Erasure”.

You can also view your previous requests by clicking on the “View Previous Request” button.

Since you’re looking to delete your Activision account, click on “Delete My Personal Information (Right to Erasure)”.

4. Log in to your Activision account

After you’ve clicked on “Delete My Personal Information (Right to Erasure)”, you need to complete the “Select Accounts” step.

In this step, you’re required to log in to the account(s) that you want to submit a Right to Erasure request.

The account(s) you log in with, and any account(s) linked to it, will be deleted.

Firstly, click on “Activision” to log in to your Activision account.

You can do the same for your other accounts as well.

Firstly, enter your email address in the “Email Address” field.

Then, enter your password in the “Password” field.

Lastly, click on “log in” to log in to your Activision account and select it.

5. Confirm the deletion of your personal information

At the bottom of the page, you’ll see your Activision account’s username.

Firstly, make sure that the username is correct.

Then, complete the CAPTCHA and check the “I accept Activision’s Terms of Use” checkbox.

Next, click on “Delete My Personal Information (Right to Erasure)”.

After you’ve clicked on “Delete My Personal Information (Right to Erasure)”, a confirmation pop-up will open.

The pop-up contains information about deleting your Activision account.

Click on the “I understand that I am requesting to have all of my requested personal information removed or anonymized” checkbox.

Lastly, click on “Delete My Personal Information (Right to Erasure)” to submit a request to delete your Activision account.

Your request will now be reviewed and/or processed.

You won’t be able to cancel your request.

Now, you need to wait for a few days for your request to be accepted.

If you’re eligible, your personal information will be deleted in the time of your country.
