What is dynamic render scale in Overwatch 2?
Dynamic render scale in Overwatch 2 allows the game to deliver a consistent frame rate but might decrease its resolution.
The resolution scaling happens throughout the game and depends on how difficult the scene is to render.
If a scene is difficult to render, the resolution will be lowered to maintain the frame rate.
On the other hand, the resolution will remain the same or higher if a scene is easy to render.
Some engines will vary the resolution in one direction and others will modify it in both directions.
