How to Fix ESP-BUIMET-003 Error in Fortnite

How to Fix ESP-BUIMET-003 Error in Fortnite

To fix ESP-BUIMET-003 in Fortnite, you need to first check the Epic Games Server Status if all systems are operational.

If some systems are not operational or Fortnite is under maintenance, you need to wait for a few hours before you can play.

Otherwise, you can try changing your DNS servers to the Google Public DNS.

Change your DNS on PC

  1. Search for “Control Panel” using Windows Search and open it.
  2. Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Connections (e.g. Ethernet).
  3. Select “Properties” and double-click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
  4. Enable “Use the following DNS server addresses”.
  5. Enter “8.8.8.8” as the preferred DNS server.
  6. Enter “8.8.4.4” as the alternate DNS server.
  7. Select “OK”, open the Epic Games Launcher, and try signing in to it.

Change your DNS on PlayStation

  1. PS4/PS5 settings menu > Network > Set Up Internet Connection.
  2. Select Wi-Fi or LAN, depending on your connection type.
  3. IP address setting: Automatic.
  4. DHCP Host Name: Do Not Specify.
  5. DNS settings: Manual.
  6. Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
  7. Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
  8. MTU settings: Automatic.
  9. Proxy server: Do not use.

Change your DNS on Xbox

  1. Open your Xbox settings.
  2. General > Network settings > Advanced settings.
  3. DNS settings > Manual.
  4. Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
  5. Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
