Extra Hell is a comic strip by Michael Ashton in Light Roast Comics.
It depicts another dimension that’s worse than hell—for those who deserve a heavier punishment.
Ashton started drawing in 2018 and promoted his comics on Reddit and Imgur.
The feedback that he got helped him to improve and build an audience on Instagram and Webtoon.
He currently uses an iPad and Procreate, a raster graphics editor app, to draw his comics.

In May 2019, Ahston posted the Extra Hell comic on r/LightRoast.
The comic got over 1.8k upvotes and was inspired by the coffee vending machine at his job.
In the comic strip, a person with a yellow shirt was talking to an admin of hell.
The person said that “He doesn’t belong here” because he expects to be in heaven.
He then said that he is a mega preacher with multiple private planes.
The admin said that he is not on the list and brought him down to extra-hell instead.
The artist is probably mocking billionaires with private planes because they emit tons of CO2.
Extra Hell (comic strip) became an exploitable template on Reddit and Twitter.
People exploited the meme by editing the second strip of the comic.
They replaced the chat bubble in the second strip with their own words.

“You’re looking at the guy that doesn’t upvote nor downvote!”.
“You’re looking at the Amazon mailman who doesn’t ring the door after he delivers a package”.
