How to Fix Facebook Memories Not Showing

To fix Facebook memories not showing, you can try using the Facebook mobile app instead of the desktop app, or vice-versa.

You can also try disabling AI restyle on memories, adding a date range, or installing an older version of Facebook.

Fix 1: Use the Facebook mobile app or desktop app

  • If the Memories feature is not working on the Facebook mobile app, try accessing it on facebook.com on a desktop instead.
  • If the Memories feature is not working on the Facebook desktop app, try accessing it on the Facebook mobile app instead.

Fix 2: Disable AI restyle on memories

  1. Open the Facebook mobile app.
  2. Select “Menu” and select “Memories”.
  3. Selecting the Settings icon on the top right.
  4. Scroll down and disable “Allow AI restyle memory suggestions”.

Fix 3: Add a new date range

  1. Go to facebook.com on your desktop.
  2. Select “See more” on the left sidebar and select “Memories”.
  3. Select “Hide Dates” on the left sidebar.
  4. Click “Add New Date Range”.
    • For “Start Date”, select a date before you joined Facebook (e.g. Jan 1, 2000).
    • For “End Date”, select the same date as the “Start Date” (e.g. Jan 1, 2000).
  5. Select “Save” and check if your Memories are back.

Fix 4: Install an older version of Facebook (Android only)

  1. Delete the Facebook app.
  2. Go to https://facebook.en.uptodown.com/android.
  3. Select “Older versions”.
  4. Install an older version of Facebook.
  5. Open the app and log in to your Facebook account.
  6. Check if your Memories are back.
