In Version 4.2 of the Genshin Impact, new areas like Morte Region and Erinnyes Forest are introduced.

A Teleport Waypoint will be unlocked near Fontaine’s Marcotte Station.

Two new characters, 5-Star Hydro character Furina and 4-Star Cryo character Charlotte are added.

The update also includes a new 5-Star sword, Splendor of Tranquil Waters.

In addition, new main story content, Archon Quests, Story Quests, and World Quests are added.

  1. Navigate to the yellow underwater area southwest of Fort Charybdis Ruins (expand the first screenshot above).
  2. Go to the yellow underwater area and interact with the clam to get Freeman’s Announcement (expand the second screenshot above).

How to use Freeman’s Announcement in Genshin Impact

  1. Go to the ship called “The Rusty Rudder” in the Erinnyes Forest.
  2. Navigate to the platform where Nadia is and extinguish the torch with Hydro.
  3. Navigate to the front right of the ship and light up the torch with Pyro.
  4. Extinguish the last torch nearby with Pyro to get a Precious Chest.
