How to Import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet

To import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet, you need to copy your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

After you’ve copied your Trust Wallet recovery phrase, you can import it to SafeMoon Wallet.

To do so, download SafeMoon Wallet from the App Store or Google Play Store and tap on “Import Wallet”.

You’ll then be given multiple import options.

This includes “12-word recovery phrase”, “24-word recovery phrase”, and “Import Private Key”.

Since Trust Wallet has a 12-word recovery phrase, tap on “12-word recovery phrase”.

1. Open Trust Wallet and navigate to “Wallets”

The first step is to copy your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

You need it to import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet later on.

Firstly, open Trust Wallet and tap on “Settings”.

After you’ve tapped on “Settings”, you’ll land on the settings page.

The page contains multiple options including “Wallets”, “Security”, “Push Notifications”, and more.

Tap on “Wallets” to see a list of your wallets.

2. Tap on the info icon

After you’ve tapped on “Wallets”, you’ll land on the “Wallets” page.

Now, you’ll see a list of wallets that you own.

To begin with, tap on the info icon next to the wallet that you want to import to SafeMoon wallet.

For example, if you want to import “Main Wallet” to SafeMoon Wallet, tap on the info icon next to “Main Wallet”.

The wallet that you’re currently using will contain a tick.

3. Tap on “Show Secret Phrase”

After you’ve tapped on the info icon next to the wallet that you want to import to SafeMoon Wallet, you can edit its name.

Under the “Backup Options” header, you’ll see a “Show Secret Phrase” option.

The option allows you to see your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

Hence, you need to tap on “Show Secret Phrase” to see your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

4. Copy your secret phrase

After you’ve tapped on “Show Secret Phrase”, you’ll land on the “Your Secret Phrase” page.

On the page, you’ll be able to see your 12-word recovery phrase.

You need this phrase to import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet later on.

Firstly, tap on “Copy” to copy your Trust Wallet recovery phrase.

5. Download SafeMoon Wallet

After you’ve copied your Trust Wallet recovery phrase, you need to download SafeMoon Wallet if you haven’t already.

SafeMoon Wallet is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.

If you’re using an iOS device, open the App Store and search for “SafeMoon”.

Once you’ve found the SafeMoon Wallet app, tap on “Get” to install it.

6. Tap on “Import Wallet”

After you’ve installed SafeMoon Wallet, you need to open it

Now, you can either import an existing wallet or create a new wallet.

You’ll be given a couple of options including “Import Wallet” and “Create a New Wallet”.

Since you’re looking to import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet, tap on “Import Wallet”.

Make sure to tick the “By proceeding you agree with Term & Conditions” checkbox before you do so.

7. Tap on “12-word Recovery Phrase”

After you’ve tapped on “Import Wallet”, you’ll need to choose your import method.

8. Paste your Trust Wallet recovery phrase

After you’ve tapped on “12-Word Recovery Phrase”, you’ll land on the “Import Wallet” page.

The page contains 12 fields that you need to fill up.

Now, you need to paste your Trust Wallet recovery phrase here.

To do so, tap on “Paste” next to the “Confirm” button.

You can also type your recovery phrase in the correct order.

Lastly, tap on “Confirm” to import Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet.

9. Set a password

After you’ve pasted your Trust Wallet recovery phrase and tapped on “Confirm”, you’ll land on the “Set a Password” page.

Now, you need to set a unique password to access your new wallet.

Firstly, choose a password and enter it in the “Enter Password” field.

Secondly, re-enter the password in the “Confirm Password” field.

Keep in mind that your password needs to have a minimum of 8 characters.

It also needs to contain at least 1 special character, 1 capital letter, and 1 number.

Tap on “Confirm” once you’ve set a password.

The password that you’ve set will only be unique to your current device.

If you want to import your wallet to a different device, you need to create a new password there.

10. You’ve successfully imported Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet

After you’ve set a password, you’ll land on the homepage of SafeMoon Wallet.

Now, you need to wait for all of your tokens to load.

All of your tokens from Trust Wallet should be shown on SafeMoon Wallet.

You’ve successfully imported Trust Wallet to SafeMoon Wallet!
