How to Fix Infinite Login Loop in Overwatch 2

Are you experiencing an infinite login loop in Overwatch 2?

When you first log in to the game, it will say “Entering server” and a few moments later, it’ll take you back to the login screen.

Overwatch 2 was released on October 4, 2022.

Since its release, the game has had multiple known issues.

Some of the known issues are server disconnection, cosmetics, items, currency not showing up, and others.

In this guide, you’ll learn why is there a login loop and how to fix the infinite login loop in Overwatch 2.

Why is there a login loop in Overwatch 2?

Login loop in Overwatch 2

There is a login loop in Overwatch 2 because there is a bug with your registered phone number.

If you’ve linked your phone number with your Battle.net account, you may experience a login loop.

Otherwise, the game is experiencing server-side issues.

Many players are complaining about the login loop on the Blizzard forum.

“Yesterday, I was playing the game for about 5 hours before closing it. When I opened it an hour later, I’m stuck in an infinite loop. There are no error messages”.

“I’m having this issue too (endless login loop). I don’t know if it’s related, but the email on my account is unverified and every time I send a verification email, I don’t receive it. It’s probably unrelated but I figured that it was worth mentioning”.

“Submitted a ticket and tweeted at Blizzard Customer Support. I just got a response saying the team is aware of the issue and is working on it. So the good news is that it hasn’t flown under the radar”.
