Is There An OnlyFans App? (And How to Get It)

Are you trying to find out if there’s an OnlyFans app on the App Store or Google Play Store?

In the present, the number of mobile users is greater than the number of desktop users.

Hence, it’s not surprising for social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter to have their own mobile apps.

Additionally, there are a ton of reasons why mobile apps have an edge over web apps—personalization, notifications, additional features, and more.

But does OnlyFans have their own mobile app?

In this article, you’ll learn whether OnlyFans has a mobile app, how to get it, and more.

Is There An OnlyFans App?

There is no official OnlyFans app on the App Store or Google Play Store.

OnlyFans can only be accessed via their website’s URL on a browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari).

The App Store has stringent review guidelines and emphasizes the safety of its users.

Every app that is submitted in the App Store is manually reviewed by the app review team.

If OnlyFans were to develop a mobile app and submits it for review, it would violate section 1.1.4 of the guidelines, and it will be rejected.

Similarly, the Google Play Store advocates a safe and respectful platform that does not tolerate inappropriate content.

As inappropriate content is prohibited on the Google Play Store, an OnlyFans app will be rejected by their review team as well.

The only way that OnlyFans will be accepted into the App Store and Google Play Store is if they pivoted to a family-friendly platform.

Realistically, that’s not going to happen as it’s the fastest-growing subscription platform in 2020, and it shows no signs of stopping.

Notwithstanding, its 192 million+ monthly visitors don’t seem to mind using the platform on a browser.

As OnlyFans will not get accepted on the App Store and Google Play Store, there’s no point in developing a mobile app for it.

How to get the OnlyFans app

As OnlyFans is not available on the App Store and Google Play Store, you won’t be able to download it.

However, you can get OnlyFans on your homepage as an app icon by going to the website on Safari and adding it to your home screen.

You can only add OnlyFans to your homepage on an iPhone.

However, if you’re using an Android device, you won’t be able to do so as there isn’t a “Add to homepage” feature.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how you can add OnlyFans to your homepage (as an app icon) on an iPhone.

Step #1: Go to onlyfans.com on Safari

OnlyFans sign in

Open Safari > onlyfans.com.

Firstly, go to the OnlyFans website (onlyfans.com) on Safari.

If you’re using Chrome, you won’t be able to add OnlyFans to your homepage as the function will not be available there.

Android devices do not have Safari, so if you’re using an Android device, you won’t be able to add OnlyFans to your homepage as well.

You can only do so via the Safari browser on an iPhone.

On the bottom navigation bar, the icon that you’ll be using is the “Share” icon.

Step #2: Tap on the “Share” icon and select “Add to Home Screen”

How to get the OnlyFans app

On the bottom navigation bar, tap on the “Share” icon > Add to Home Screen.

Next, tap on the “Share” icon on the bottom navigation bar.

After you’ve tapped on in, a navigation drawer will open.

There are a ton of options in the navigation drawer—Copy, Add to Reading List, Add Bookmark, and so on.

Scroll down until you see the option called, “Add to Home Screen”.

Select “Add to Home Screen” to add OnlyFans to your home screen.

On the Safari browser, the function “Add to Home Screen” allows you to add any website to your home screen as an app icon.

This makes it easy for you to visit websites in a single tap, without the need to enter a URL.

The feature only works on Safari, so if you’re using chrome, there won’t be an option for you to add the website to your home screen if you’re using the “Share icon”.

Step #3: Rename the app (optional) and tap on “Add”

How to add OnlyFans to your home screen

Rename the app icon (optional) > Add.

The final step is to rename the app and tap on the “Add” button.

Renaming the app is optional as it’s an additional feature in the “Add to Home Screen” function.

Typically, if you were to add an article on the web to your home screen, it will display the article’s title under its icon.

At times, the title might be too long, so you have to change it so that it doesn’t cut off.

Since OnlyFans has only 8 letters, you don’t have to rename the app if you don’t want to as the title won’t get cut off.

Next, tap on the “Add” button to add OnlyFans to your home screen.

After you tapped on the “Add” button, exit Safari and go to your home screen.

The OnlyFans website will be added to your home screen as an app icon.

When you tap on the icon, you will be automatically directed to the OnlyFans website.

Congrats, you’ve successfully added OnlyFans to your homepage!

Is there an OnlyFans app for iOS?

No, there isn’t an official OnlyFans app for iOS.

You can only use Onlyfans on a browser (e.g. Safari) via their website (onlyfans.com).

If OnlyFans developed an app for their platform, it would be rejected by the review team as it violates the App Store’s guidelines.

Although apps like Reddit and Twitter contain a ton of user-generated content (some of which are inappropriate), they are still allowed on the App Store.

This is due to the nature of the app.

Twitter is intended to be a social networking service, and it’s content are primarily family-friendly.

This is similar to Reddit where the majority of its subreddits are suitable for the general audience.

Additionally, users are required to mark inappropriate posts as “NSFW”.

On the other hand, OnlyFans is a fully-fledged adult content service, and none of the user-generated content on it is safe for work.

Hence, there isn’t an OnlyFans app for iOS devices.

Is there an OnlyFans app for Android?

No, there isn’t an OnlyFans app for Android devices.

You can only use OnlyFans on Android by going to its website.

Similar to the App Store, the Google Play Store rejects apps that primarily promote adult content.

Moreover, the maximum age rating that apps can have in the Google Play Store is 16+.

OnlyFans require its users to be 18 and above, so it has no place in the Google Play Store.

That being said, if OnlyFans were to make an app, it will be rejected from the Google Play Store for inappropriate content.

Will there be an OnlyFans app?

No, there won’t be an OnlyFans app because it’s against the app stores’ policies.

OnlyFans is a content subscription service with adult user-generated content.

As the nature of OnlyFans is adult-oriented, it will be rejected by both the App Store and the Google Playstore if they decided to develop an app.

OnlyFans violates section 1.1.4 of the App Store’s guidelines.

It also violates the Google Play Store’s policy on “Inappropriate Content”.

Hence, if OnlyFans decided to develop an app, it has no chance of getting accepted into the App Stores.

Using the platform on a browser is sufficient enough for its users, so there isn’t a need for OnlyFans to develop an app for it in the first place.

Conclusion

There’s no reason for OnlyFans to develop a mobile app because it will be rejected by the app stores.

Social networking apps (e.g. Reddit) that contain inappropriate content are allowed on the app stores because they are not primarily adult-oriented.

Moreover, Reddit/Twitter users are given the ability to mark their posts NSFW or sensitive respectively.

As OnlyFans is adult-oriented containing inappropriate user-generated content, it won’t be allowed on the App Store or Google Play Store.
