In this guide, you’ll learn how to solve the Kiuyoyou Shrine puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Solve Kiuyoyou Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To solve the Kiuyoyou Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to place the ice block on top of the pressure plate to open the gate and go to the upper platform.
Once you’re there, you need to combine the large metal plate with the ice cube and bring it to the lower platform.
You can collect the treasure chest by placing the “ice cube + large metal plate” next to the ledge and an ice cube on top of it.
Lastly, move the “ice cube + large metal plate” under the flames to open the gate.
Here’s how to do this (expand the screenshots above):
- Use the Ultrahand ability to grab the ice block and bring it to the flames for a brief moment.
- Place the ice block on top of the pressure plate to open the gate.
- Ride the air current up to get to the upper platform.
- Use the Ultrahand ability to move the large metal plate to block the fire after the ice cube melts.
- Use the Ultrahand ability again to move the ice cube away and combine the large metal plate on top of the ice cube.
- Slide the “ice cube + large metal plate” down the spike ramp and glide down back to the lower platform.
- Use the Ultrahand ability to move the “ice cube + large metal plate” to the ledge.
- Use the Ultrahand ability again to move the ice cube nearby, place it on top of the large metal plate, climb up, and open the treasure chest.
- Use the Ultrahand ability to move the “ice cube + large metal plate” under the flames.
After you’ve placed the “ice cube + large metal plate” under the flames, it will push down a pressure plate.
The gate will now open and you can collect your Light of Blessing.
