Here’s how to fix “League of Legends failed to launch”:

  1. Close the League of Legends app.
  2. Click on the arrow icon to show hidden icons on the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Right-click the “Riot Games” icon and select “Exit”.
  4. Search for “regedit” using Windows Search and open it.
  5. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft.
  6. Windows NT > CurrentVersion > Image File Execution Options.
  7. Right-click “DevOverrideEnable” and select “Modify”.
    • (Optional) If you don’t have “DevOverrideEnable”, select “Image File Execution Options” and right-click an empty spot.
    • (Optional) New > DWORD (32bit) Value > Rename it to “DevOverrideEnable”.
  8. Set the “Value data” to 0 and select “OK” and restart your PC.
