Why can’t I play Lost Ark in the Netherlands?
According to Lost Ark, they are not able to launch in Belgium and the Netherlands due to local laws and regulations.
Belgium and The Netherlands consider Lost Ark as a game of chance because it has random in-game items.
In another Lost Ark reply on Twitter, they mentioned that Amazon does not have the right to publish the game in any additional regions.
This means that you might not be able to play the game in SEA (Southeast Asia).
Is Lost Ark available in Asia?
Lost Ark is not available in Asia (e.g., Singapore, China, India).
Currently, Lost Ark has 4 regions with servers available for them.
This includes North America East, North America West, Central Europe, and Latin America.
Due to paid items being marked as “Gambling/RNG content”, the game is blocked in some countries.
According to Lost Ark’s replies on Twitter, they do not intend to publish the game in any other regions except for the ones in the list above.
Hence, if you’re living in Southeast Asia, Belgium, or the Netherlands, you’ll have to use a VPN to download the game on Steam.
