After you’ve caught one, you need to trade it with another Ditto of another language by using “44484448” as the link code.
To do so, you need to open the Poke Portal > Link Trade > Set Link Code > 44484448 > Begin Searching > Yes.
For this to work, you need to be connected to the internet.

- Catch a Ditto.

- Trade your Ditto with another Ditto of another language.

To use the method, you need to trade a Pokemon with another Pokemon of another language.
For example, you can trade your Ditto (ENG) with Ditto (FRE).
After you’ve got a foreign Ditto, you can breed it to have a higher chance of getting a Shiny Egg.
The odds of getting a Shiny Egg from breeding is about 1 in 4096 chance with a normal Ditto.
On the other hand, the odds are about 1 in 683 chance with a Foreign Ditto.
